Bought from another online vendor along with the stud finder for a total of around $20. Works well for me.
This one uses an adhesive disc. If you are good enough to use only one per job, then you're out after only six placements. Most reliable levels have ways to hold the level on the wall using suction or velcro. Unfortunately, it was apparently designed by people who never use a laser level on a wall. I got one of these little gizmos as a "giveaway" in a stud finder package. It makes you wonder if the discs will eventually cost more than this gizmo. If you need a serious laser level that you can move without it costing you money, consider something like the Titan 15105 4-in-1 or the Strait-Line 6041101CD LL120 (Amazon sells these). However, this thing comes with six. Not much of a problem if you have an unlimited supply of discs.
I can't find them online (even here on Amazon where you buy the device) and Zircon doesn't sell them from their website (although you can call their Customer Service and order more). Well, if you're using an adhesive disc, you have only one shot to get the placement right. I thought it might come in handy since it's very compact and easily transportable. Have you tried to find replacement discs anywhere. The assumption is that you know exactly where you plan to put the level on the wall, both in height and length. If you've mismeasured, then you have to peel the disc off and put on another. No enclosed price list or order form. These use suction which is much easier to move around for adjustments. If you like the cute blue ball, I hope you don't have a lot of levelling to do.
This is really a nifty little product to have around in your toolbox, junk drawer, or anywhere else you keep such things. I couldn't be more simple to use, and can level anything. Buy one, and keep it handy.
This is a great product for short term use. Now it is pretty useless since the bubble inside is too big to align it well. It works very well to hang pictures etc. The problem I have with this product is that in about an year, liquid inside evaporated leaving a big bubble. I have given it two stars because I would expect a bit longer life for this product. It explains why the warranty is for only one year.
I used this tool within minutes of receiving it. It works great, with the exception being the rotation ball isn't very stable. That just means you have to be careful not to touch the wall while hanging things. I bought a bunch for my friends.
